Ambient Recruiting is partnered with a client in Charlotte, MI who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for Maintenance Tech positions who are ready to start as soon as possible! The ideal candidate will be able to complete a drug screen and background check, and more.

- 10 hour days
- 5am-3:30pm work schedule

- Maintain a preventive maintenance program for all related production equipment.
- Monitor, maintain, and perform standard repairs and maintenance on production equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, hydraulics, process pumps, boilers, chillers, and other assigned general maintenance duties.
- Assess and resolve a wide range of on-site maintenance issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance on company-owned tools and equipment.
- Read, interpret, and implement work orders.
- Acquire the necessary materials to complete repairs and work orders.
- Document equipment requirements and maintain appropriate records of work performed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Read / write / speak English.
- Technical school or Certifications are highly preferred.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Ability to stand for 10 hour shifts.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Pass a background test and drug screen.
