Short-Term Work With Strong Pay

Ambient Recruiting is hiring Production Sanders for a Northern Michigan manufacturer that needs additional help in its sanding department for approximately 3-4 weeks.
This is a genuinely temporary need and a great option for someone looking to pick up several weeks of full-time work at $20-$21/hour. Candidates with construction, woodworking, production, or previous sanding experience are especially encouraged to apply.
While the current need is temporary, there is a possibility of longer-term employment for the right candidate depending on performance and business needs.

What You'll Be Doing

Sand manufactured products and components to required specifications
Prepare surfaces for the next stages of production
Use sanding tools and equipment safely and effectively
Inspect surfaces for consistency, smoothness, and quality
Follow production instructions and quality expectations
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work alongside production team members to keep projects moving
Assist with additional production duties as needed

What We're Looking For

Previous sanding experience preferred
Construction experience preferred
Woodworking, manufacturing, finishing, or similar hands-on experience is helpful
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and quality
Dependable attendance throughout the temporary assignment
Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on production work
Ability to work the full 1st-shift schedule
Willingness to help in other production areas when needed

Benefits May Include

This is currently expected to be a 3-4 week temporary assignment, so benefit eligibility may vary.
The position does offer:

$20-$21/hour
Full-time 1st-shift hours
Four-day primary workweek
Fridays only as needed
Opportunity to gain additional manufacturing and finishing experience
Potential for the assignment to develop into a longer-term opportunity
