Ambient Recruiting is partnering with an established Northern Michigan manufacturer to hire Light Assembly team members for opportunities in Traverse City.
This is an excellent entry-level manufacturing opportunity for someone who is reliable, willing to learn, and interested in building skills that can lead to more advanced positions. You don't need years of manufacturing experience to get started. The company provides hands-on training and gives employees opportunities to learn different operations as they gain experience.
You'll be helping manufacture small electric motors and related components used in products across a variety of industries. The facility is clean, organized, and team-focused, with an emphasis on quality, continuous improvement, and learning.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Light Assembly team member, you'll learn how to assemble and inspect small components used in finished manufactured products.
Your responsibilities may include:

• Assemble small parts and components according to work instructions
• Use screw guns, hand tools, and basic assembly equipment
• Learn different production operations and manufacturing processes
• Follow verbal and written instructions, diagrams, and work orders
• Perform basic testing and quality inspections
• Identify and report potential product or quality issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
• Work independently and alongside other production team members
• Meet established quality and production expectations
• Cross-train in additional operations as skills and experience develop
• Assist with other production responsibilities as needed

This is an entry-level-friendly opportunity, so previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
