Ambient Recruiting is partnering with a well-established waterfront resort in Traverse City to hire Weekend Resort Housekeepers for an immediate staffing need. Located along the shores of East Grand Traverse Bay, this resort has welcomed guests for decades and is known for its spacious waterfront accommodations, beautiful private beach, and outstanding guest experience.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Weekend Resort Housekeeper, you'll help prepare guest suites for incoming visitors by:
- Cleaning resort guest rooms from top to bottom
- Vacuuming carpets and floors
- Dusting furniture, fixtures, and décor
- Making beds with fresh linens
- Cleaning bathrooms, tubs, showers, sinks, and toilets
- Cleaning mirrors, windows, and other surfaces
- Replacing towels and guest amenities
- Emptying trash and refreshing rooms for arriving guests
- Reporting maintenance concerns when noticed
- Working efficiently with your team to prepare rooms on schedule
- Helping create a welcoming environment for every guest
What We're Looking For
Successful candidates typically have:
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to stay busy
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required
- Commitment to providing clean, guest-ready accommodations

This is a physically active housekeeping position where you'll spend the day cleaning guest suites, making beds, vacuuming, scrubbing bathrooms, and preparing rooms for arriving guests. Sundays are often the busiest turnover day at the resort, so teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential. You'll be on your feet throughout the shift, bending, lifting, and moving frequently while helping ensure every guest arrives to a clean, comfortable room.
