Position: X-Ray Technologist
Ambient Recruitment is partnered with a medical client in Traverse City that is actively hiring an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join their healthcare team.

What You'll Be Doing
- Review daily schedules and prepare for patient examinations
- Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures
- Operate radiology equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection guidelines
- Explain procedures and help patients feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with clinical staff
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology equipment as needed
- Maintain inventory and restock radiology supplies
- Assist with ultrasound coverage when necessary
- Follow all HIPAA, workplace safety, and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training opportunities
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of anatomy, radiology procedures, and imaging safety standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Basic computer and EMR experience
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher
- At least one year of X-ray experience
- Orthopedic imaging experience is a plus
