Ambient Recruiting is partnered with a client in Grand Rapids, who is actively looking to hire a qualified Machine Operator, who is ready to start as soon as possible! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic injection and will be responsible for operating machine and performing quality checks according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor plastic injection molding machine
- Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet specifications
- Trim and pack plastic parts
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machinery issues and implement solutions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and standards within manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining individual accountability.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must have perfect attendance and good attitude.
